June Walker-Wilson is a painter who draws inspiration from the seasons and the natural environment.
She has mainly worked in oils but in 2011 June developed a new technique of manipulated fabric on board in which she bridges the space between flat art and three dimensional sculpture. She continues to use traditional oil paints to finish the multi-focal sculptural effects of her paintings.
June has exhibited in solo and group shows in Mount Pearl, Port Rexton, and Gander and her work can be found in private collections in Canada, USA and United Kingdom. Her paintings can now be viewed at Ultramarine Fine Art Studio, 100 Duckworth Street, St John’s.
